Been going on like forever. John’s custom saws isn’t a recommended builder on ope forum. There are several reputable guys that do this kind of work if that is what blows your dress up.

I was looking to buy a blacked out ported ms261 and like the way johns looked and even with the mixed reviews, knowing there are a lot of his saws out there that people love.

My only mod’d saw is my stihl 193t, pretty much useless before the mod, great saw (for what it is) after.
